Boiler House Earby Ltd was awarded the contract to de-commission the main boiler house 300mm (12") gas main on the site Devonport Royal Dockyard sited in Plymouth.

We succesfully purged with inert gas nitrogen (N2) to remove all gas from the main.

The method in which the gas pipe work at Devonport dockyard was PURGED, conformed to IGE/UP/1 section 6: Direct purging.
